Buyer Auction Information and Agreement Terms:
Printable Buyer Auction Information and Agreement Terms:

  • New auction(s) listings will start on every Sunday at 7:00 pm (PST) and close every Sunday at 7:00 pm (PST), unless the item has on going bidding.. The auction site will except more valid bids for an additional 5 minutes, or until there is no more bidding on such item. There will be no combat bid sniping at gotpigeon.com.
  • All birds that are highlighted in bright yellow are called “preview” birds . Preview birds are pigeons that will be starting the auction the following Sunday. All preview birds are subject to changes; any and all information posted on a preview bird may change during the preview time. NO PREVIEW BIRD will start earlier then the following Sunday auction. If, you, the Buyer have any interest in one of the preview birds, please note the date that auction will start and add it to your Memorized Auctions.
  • Pigeons that are bought by the Buyer(s) must be in good condition. It is the Seller(s) responsibility for all pigeons to be in good condition during auction posting and when sold. Sellers warrant that all information that is posted is valid and correct about him/herself and/or the bird(s) being auctioned.
  • Bids will be processed in the order received. All bids are processed immediately. When you are bidding on a pigeon, make sure you ALWAYS refresh your computer screen to watch the current bids.
  • All pigeons auctioned will start with a minimum bid, defined by the seller. Starting bids will be equal to the minimum and will be posted at the minimum price.
  • Proxy bidding applies to all standard auctions. When you place a bid, enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for that item. This amount will always be kept secret. Whenever someone else places a bid, our auction site will automatically enter the lowest possible bid for you, up to your maximum bid.You will receive an outbid notice when someone has exceeded your proxy. At the end of an auction, if you are the high bidder, you are the winner. As the winner of the auction, you only pay the lowest possible winning bid, not necessarily your maximum bid.
  • When Proxy bidding is in effect, it can appear as if one bidder has beat another bidder with the same bid amount. This is normal and occurs when a bidder has a proxy bid in effect and a second bidder comes along and makes their bid at the exact same amount the current proxy is at. Since the proxy bid was placed earlier, the proxy bid will be the successful bidder. For the second bidder be successful in placing a bid, they must bid higher than the proxy bid that is in effect.
  • Bidders may increase their bid at any time before the auction closes. You may also increase your proxy bids at any time before the auction closes as long as the proxy bid is greater then the current high bid. gotpigeon.com will only recognize one of your bids at a time, so your submission of the standard bid will cancel any previous proxy bid.
  • The highest bid received prior to the auction closing will be the winning bidder.
  • The server clock is the final arbiter of the bid closing.
  • The final results of your auction will be published on the site shortly after the auction closes. As the bidder you will receive an email informing you that you have the winning bid.
  • All fees and charges will be debited at the end of each auction. Winning Buyers will be sent an email stating that their credit cards(s) have been processed. If the credit card(s) come up invalid or failure to be processed, gotpigeon.com administrator will contact the buyer to give them the opportunity to replace the current card with a secondary card. The Buyer must produce another approved credit card by Monday at 11:00 am (PST) to qualify as the winner bidder. If the administrator is unable to contact the Buyer before Monday at 11:00 am (PST) or if the secondary credit card doesn't clear the next highest bidder will be contacted and given the opportunity to be the new winner at the last bid amount.
  • There are no additional credit card fees at gotpigeon.com
  • IMPORTANT: Once both the Buyer and Seller have received their closing emails, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to have given a correct shipping address and the Seller to ship the Buyer the pigeon(s) within 7 days of the auction closing date. The Seller is also responsible for the shipping boxes to be in good condition and will include all documentation and/or pedigrees.

Buyer Shipping Rates:
